MAN 8.136 FAE 4x4 Drop side cargo truck
Developed to replace the UNimog 416 vehicles these MAN 8.136 4x4 trucks have proved very popular.
They have a carrying capacity of 3,000kg and are powerfull with a 6 cylinder 136hp diesel engine.
These trucks would be well suited to applications such as;

Aid delivery
General cargo truck
Shoot vehicle - beaters truck
Service truck

Danish Army Specific: This 3000 kg 4x4 truck has superseded the Unimog 416 as a squad- car in the early 1985 and is now in widespread use in many different configurations by the Danish Army.
Production was shared between the MAN factory in Salzgitter-Watenstedt and the VW factory in Hannover.
From 1986 until 1993 when production of the MAN 8 was shut down, manufacturing took place by MAN only.
In 2005 some 100 vehicles has been donated to the Iraqi security forces.
